This is something that everyone should do at least once in their lifetime. I don't have the words to describe how Beautiful this place is, you have to see it in person. They provide you with wetsuits, helmets, lifevests, and watershoes. We went in January and I was afraid that the water would be too cold but it wasent bad... More

Such a beautiful unique place to see. They staff here really takes precautions to not over populate it and the average amount of people they have coming through in a day is about 350-400. I can't stress enough that at the beginning of the tour when they offer you a walking stick you need to TAKE ONE! Please don't second... More

We took a taxi from Playacar for 180 peso and arrived at 10.30 and although the time inside the cave was less than one and half hours we didn't get away until gone 2.30pm Be aware they take you inland to enter the cenote complex and you are then trapped there until they provide transport back to the main entrance/road.... I was extremely anxious about doing this tour since I cannot swim. If you can't swim like me (I can't even float), do NOT worry! During the time that we went, the water honestly wasn't even deep enough to be considered swimming. With the life vest, you just float through. 95% of the cave is walking or standing. The "swimming"... More

Let me start of by saying the needing to swim part had me sceptical in booking this as I am not good at it but we booked it anyway. Once in the caves breathtaking views and swiming..... was a breeze. You float! They provide you wetsuites, water shoes, life jacket, walking stick which really help. The photographers are really anoying,... More

You will leave this place exhausted, inspired, and enlightened! Mind blowing. Gorgeous place. Kids loved it. A lot of walking and in water but well worth it. The Mayan culture is so enriching. Take the tour, you will be tired at the end of the day but you will LOVE it! Only negative is that no pictures are allowed and... More

Myself and my sister went on the 3 and a half hour excursion which we thought was quite good. However the excursion itself was a bit pricey. Our guide was very good and informative. We had a mixed nationality group but it was not a problem, we were all able to understand. Great for all ages I think and quite... More

Here you will get to learn a little bit of history, about how Chicle was discovered, a little bit of the Mayan culture and live the most magical experience. You will walk a little bit through the jungle and inside the cave, you will get to swim and experience an inner peace that is very hard to find anywhere else.

Family vacation (me, my husband and our 16-year-old daughter) and we did the standard tour Rio Secreto on Friday morning. Our guide was Silas and he was wonderful, very engaging, knowledgeable and made the entire experience from gearing up to the tour itself to lunch and then departure an excellent adventure. We will definitely go back with friends ne t... More

I have been on countless amounts of excursions and I would have to say this was the most amazing! My daughter and I made the best memories this day. Once you enter the cave it is unlike anything you have ever seen. The river running through the cave provides a different cave experience. The views you will see are breathtaking!... More
