Surprisingly the pristine waters of this underground river were not as cold as I expected, once inside the caverns, the outside world is soon forgotten. Stalagmites and 'tites in abundance....... geez its so quiet down here ! This is definitely one of the best tours we've experienced in the Caribbean. Unfortunately OH&S dictates that we all wear life jackets !!... More

Very nice tour and interesting. Loved the fish nibbling at my feet. The ware was so crystal clear. A bit cool though.

Enjoyed my first visit of cave/snorkeling tour. Was not sure what to expect but, enjoyed seeing the beautiful cave, bats, fish, frog. Was with my family of 12 and the two small granddaughters were not fans of the cool water. I would recommend this tour for anyone.

We recently visited after reading the reviews here and we were not disappointed. Marcelo was our guide for the 2 hour cave/snorkeling tour and he did an amazing job with our group that ranged in ages from 4 to 60. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. They do take pictures of your group but I would suggest... More

Really nice tour with the perfect guide Ricardo. He tought us a lot about the eco system and mayan culture. We had a blast at the Chaak tun cenote, we recomend you to visit this magic place. Anders & Mats

Was a nice trip - however too much money for what you get. The lunch was great and the hosts were amazing. Once you see the sights, the trip is over. Also a long drive to get there.

I went by taxi to Chaac Tun with my 9 year old son. ($150 pesos from downtown Playa) Our guide was wonderful, I wish I got his name so I could personally recommend him! We saw bats and sat in complete darkness for a minute to get a sense of how truly quiet and closed off the cenote is from... More

This tour was so unique. Our group loved it. It was too cold for our 4 and 5 year olds. They got into the first cave, but wouldn't go through the second. We saw many bats, a turtle, a frog, spiders, and of course, fish. We turned off the light and sat in the pitch dark for a period of... More

Abel was our guide. We took a taxi from the Hyatt and our taxi driver agreed to come back in 2 hours to pick us up. It was a beautiful experience and Abel was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
