Angelo was wonderful! The caves and caverns were beautiful! My friend has a bad knee that was bothering her- but she was able to walk the tour. There are some steps and uneven ground but all were fairly easy to navigate. The water is "refreshing" and easy for even non-swimmers like me. I recommend this to everyone. Buy the pictures- you only live once...

I was excited for this experience but without expectations. I went in with an open mind and heart and came away in pure joy, light, and love. My favorite activity was the sweat lodge with the shaman. I didn’t want to leave the lodge because I was so happy and in my zone.

There is so much I can share but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. One word to sum up the sweat lodge, the underground caverns, lunch, and even the tequila tasting: Spectacular! It was so special to walk this path at the end of the year, as a way to release the old and outdated ways of thinking, doing, and being and to effectively step into the new year, with a fresh outlook.

Our tour guide, Oto, was INCREDIBLE! I never felt rushed, but always at ease. His warmth and energy naturally placed us all at ease and in his trusting hands. His knowledge was poignant and just the right amount of instruction as well as letting us experience all the elements of the day with all of our senses.

Lunch was so yummy and in large amounts for everyone to walk away satisfied. It was a nice variety to meet different food preferences (ex: vegetarian.). I enjoyed the new-to-me hydrating water with a sweet cinnamon taste. We even learned Spanish from the gentlemen serving our food.

Lastly, the tequila. OK, I’m not a drinker of alcohol so I was a bit nervous. But WOW so smooth! Bring your spending money because you’re going to want to take some home with you!

I give this experience a 10+. Those of us who participated with partial or no family members all wished our loved ones chose to experience this fabulous day together. I hope one day to return and participate again.

Special thank you to Oto (tour guide) and Mr. Shaman for your love, care, and guidance. 🙏♥️

Awesome place to experience the cenotes. If you are staying in Playa del Carmen its a great option and very close by. Our guide was James Nuñez, he knew so much about the place and helped us have a great time visiting the caverns. Would 100% recommend. A bit more expensive than other cenotes, but was very worth it.

Otto was such an awesome tour guide, he made the trip 100x better. He did the tour in multiple languages for everyone to understand and answered every questions that was asked!

This cenote is beautiful and has thousands of untouched stalagmites and stalagmites. It’s well worth a trip and a little bit of money. Don’t forget to tip your tour guide!

We truly enjoyed our visit to Chaak Tun. I have visited several cenotes over the last 5 years and this was an entirely different experience. At first, I didn’t like the idea of having a guide but Ricardo was wonderful and so much fun. The value for the $$ was outstanding and the fact that they include a wetsuit was also very welcome. Most of the experience is spent underground which was different than the other cenotes we’ve been to previously. Having said that, the experience was great and I would highly recommend to anyone. My 7 year old daughter loved it.

Amazing staff who were kind and very knowledgeable. We actually had the cenote to ourselves. It was incredible and magical. I've visited many cenotes -- this one ranks among the very best! Truly beautiful. Water is so fresh and has very few fishes (which always kind of freak me out a little).

Words can't describe the awesome beauty of these caves. My wife and I were guided by Rene and he did a fabulous job describing this natural wonder. Everything was provided that you need such as the water shoes, wet suit, snorkel and flashlight. Just bring swim gear and a towel and you are supplied with a locker for your personal items. There is a photographer that takes pictures and we were glad we paid the modest price ($30 USD) for them at the end of the tour. There was also a tequila tasting at the end. We did not visit this as part of a tour group, we just took a taxi from our resort and they accommodated us gladly. Do it, you won't regret.

My friends and I ate there on 2-12-20. We all really enjoyed the meal, there was plenty to eat and they kept bringing more. There was a good selection of food and the feel of the restaurant was nice, it felt like you were isolated and dining in a cave.
