Most expensive bike shop in town. Charged me 120 pesos for overnight rental. Go to Kelly's or Centre Bikes on the main road. Way cheaper!

just made the error of booking a early morning tour to cenotes with the owner of this shop, after his recommendation of this great tour. I had rented a bike from the shop previously & he told me of this great tour they do starting 6.30am. A jeep loads all the bikes and they drive off into the jungle and... More

On our first day in Tulum we went to Iguana to rent bikes and get a lay of the land. Vicktor got us set up on bikes for the day and suggested the great taco stand across the road. When we arrived back at the end of our day, we arranged a tour of the Dos Ojos Cenotes with Vicktor.... More

I rented a bike from this store, and referred a friend here also. Soon after, the bike I was using broke as I rode it, the bike was in very poor condition. Coincidently this bike was stolen from a very busy area at the doorstep of my hotel. This happened 2 days into me having the bike. No other bikes... More

The bikes we rented with Hugo were ok, average bikes compared with other shops in Tulum. What made us love it was the owner who were really friendly, gave us tips, discounts for half a day rent and shared some stories with us. We recommend it.

If you are a serious cyclist needing a top shelf bike assembled or dismantled or serviced, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT come to this shop unless you are very, VERY desperate..or like abuse. Single ladies - STAY FAR AWAY! The owner - Hugo at first was friendly and assembly easy but he has a serious Dr Jekyll and Hyde personality. To get... More

Iguana Bikes tour of the cenotes was a top highlight of our week in Tulum. Hugo was our tour guide and he was an excellent person to have show us 3 of the stunning cenotes. It was very cheap in comparison to renting bikes, paying a taxi, and then paying entrance fees into the cenotes. He picked us up from... More

We stumbled across Iguana bike store on our trip to Tulum and Hugo, the owner, was super friendly and we immediately rented 2 bikes, and booked a bike trip for the next day. He was super flexible with when we could return the bikes and the bike trip to the cenotes was really cool. Hugo has a great sense of... More

Being a keen cyclist and having rented bikes from over 20 different countries I can safely say that Iguanabike in Tulum is the most unfriendly and appalling bike shop I have every had the misfortune in visiting. Upon arrival I asked the perfectly acceptable question was there a discount available for renting 2 bikes for 3 or more days. The... More
