The visit to the natural pools/coral reefs is definitely the best ecotour in the region. During morning lower sea tide, natural pools, isolated from open ocean, form for a couple of hours. The place is only accessible by locals' rafts, called "jangadas". These "jangadeiros" can...More

Preserved nature and stunning location. Better to visit these natural pools than those in Maragogi - Maragogi is simply too crowded.

Going to São Miguel dos Milagres and not visit the natural swimming pools is like going to Paris and skip the Eiffel Tower! Likewise, sometimes it is a little bit crowded but if it isn't the peek season, it worths the visit. Best to go...More

While walking on the reef you can see in the holes a lot of different fish. You reach the reef partially walking on the beach and then by local boat. snorkelling is also an option

We felt like that old movie blue lagoon, with warm waters, the strong wind, and full of little fishes and marine life.

What a treat to make a trip with one of the local "jangadas" to the natural pools in the coral reefs and see all sort of marine life swimming underneath you!

Sandy, deserted beaches, long strolls, with palm trees along the coast, warm water, you can go deep into the sea and still shallow water

Where do I arrange a guide to tour the natural pools? Can my hotel make the reservations for me? Are there any jangadeiros that might speak broken English? Thank you
