Be sure to go upstairs! The living quarters were above the street and the curators have furnished the rooms as they would have been in Allende's time. Very impressive.

A creative oasis in SMA... spacious, quiet, gorgeous murals. We heard music classes in session. We could sit in the courtyard amidst sculptures and relax. The art gallery had striking work, which was worth the trip alone.

San miguel de allende is a beautiful village with alot of charm and history. Visited several beautiful churches, art galleries, and so many place to eat.
