Interesting architecture and elegant simplicity.

The contrast between the complex neo-gothic exterior and the understated interior, make this a must visit site.

Located on the heart of the beautiful Famous San Miguel de Allende, The Church of Our Lady of Health stands the city's symbol. It's wonderful pink stone facade is a fine example of Mexican skilled stone carvers and excellence. Undoubtedly a must.

This is another of the many majestic churches located in and around San Miguel de Allende. The façade of this church is particularly impressive with its concave feature of dark stone. It is located right across from a plaza where buses assemble and where lots of street food vendors sell their products. So many churches to visit, but take your... More

An Icon of San Miguel de Allende, buit at the end of nineteen century and begining of the twenty. Inspired by European style and with some Neo Gothic . Hidalgo gave a mass, once at the funeral of his brother, also a priest. A past president of Mexico is buried there I think it was Guadalupe Victoria. And Maximilano did... More

This church is located in front of one of the plazas. It's very close to the San Francisco church on the other side of the street. The church looks like it's integrated with the rest of the houses and only differs because of its huge gate. The inside has a lot of sunlight from the windows and is nicely decorated.

I spent a couple hours on Easter Sunday in the central park. It was filled with families and young people plus a few Snow Birds. Great atmosphere. The Mexican people were especially friendly Music, clowns and beautiful weather.

This church was so different than the others. It was very folksy. There was one display with a child and modern toys which were given for the health of children. Very touching. The main lady was in yellow when I was there but I understand now that her clothing is changed monthly to a different bright color. The church is... More

The photos shown are NOT of Our Lady of Good Health but rather they are of St. Michael the Archangel which is nearby.
