I spent an hour or so here today browsing through the floors and checking the toys. So comments.... The toys are nicely displayed - the glass cases are attractive and clean. Some toys are in the open but most of them you are not allowed to touch - this is way disappointing as many of them are motion toys -... More

There are five floors of toys exhibited in the Toy Museum. It only cost $3 to enter. There were miniatures, dolls, large toys with moving parts, fabric and grass woven displays, ceramic toys, and much more. There were many toys that did not appear to be ones that should be played with. They were too ornate and delicate, but beautiful... More

This is a folk art museum, not history. Each year the winning pieces which represent old toys with a modern interpretation are added. Some history in English is provided but we had many questions left unanswered. Don't miss the rooftop view. It is not a don't miss but an inexpensive way to spend a couple,of hours. Our overall experience in... More

True artisan work displayed. If you want a historical look at the hand crafted toys and how unique they are this is a must see.

You spend no more than 1 hour to visit all the rooms, that are full of handmade toys, showing a little about Mexican culture. Not only toys, but also a great view from the city on the rooftop. It really worth if have kids!

It's a no touch toy museum. Not good for kids. We spent an hour there. It's a beautiful place and really great for adults. Just don't bring kids.

This visit reminded me the extremely happy childhood I had! My eyes almost burst in tears! The wooden toys, especially the little horses, were the ones that almost make me cry! But they have all kinds of very Mexican colorful dolls, chairs, tea sets, planes, cars etc. and they also display some "winner toy of the year" which I found... More

I'm not even a kid, but the kid inside emerges once I went inside this colorful and historical experience of Mexican toy making. And they have a gift shop where you can take home a little toy for yourself!

We walk by this museum every day, and from the outside it looks unimposing. Yesterday because of the rain, we decided to walk over and go through the museum, and boy were we surprised! The extensive toy collection, which is very colorful and has been displayed very creatively, was amazing, and was situated on 3-4 floors of an older home.... More
