The Bordello Galeria and Workshop Space is so named because it is located in the main sala of Madam Turca's "Casa de la Noche" where notorious "ladies of the evening" once made their living. The Galeria has been created to support local and visiting artists needing single event reception space. For workshops, it’s also an ideal space for end-of-class exhibits. With a 150 linear feet of exhibition walls, the Bordello Galeria venue offers a state-of-the-art hanging system, rheostat spot lighting, and an open welcoming space, split level, near the center of town.

Barbara does such a great job on her B&B (it's the only place our NYC friends will stay when they visit), but her work on the Galeria is equally a treat. Less formal than most art venues in town, the Bordello has a lovely gallery space that provides a salon type atmosphere for the art she shows. The Galeria recent... More

I always feel welcome at the Bordello Galleria. In this delightful event space and casa, I breathe in words and breathe out poetry as we share on Sunday afternoons in one of their living rooms with a view or flower powered courtyards. Gracias for your artistic attention to detail on Sundays in San Miguel for me and my California friends,... More

The Galeria is wonderful. Barbara and her staff do a fabulous job curating her own collection in addition to other artists' exhibits. My husband and I are particularly fond of Ruben Morales' work and purchased two pieces of his for our Baja California home. The bed and breakfast, Casa de la Noche, is a beautiful place to stay. Please check... More

Once again, the Bordello Galeria in San Miguel de Allende surprises me. Within the last week, I have enjoyed the playful hospitality of the owner and their accommodating service of the team-members and staff. As the soft sun light was highlighting the yellow, blue and creamy white walls of the colonia just blocks from Centro, I discovered new friends joining... More

I had a great time at the last show I attended, the art was delightful. I also met some very interesting people. The food and wine was a perfect mix. I love the unique history of the galeria- in a lovely bed and breakfast that used to be a bordello. If those walls could talk! I highly recommend you make... More
