A small museum, but packed full of information on whales, their evolution, the whaling industry and today's very different attitude to whales. Well worth a visit.

there is lots of useful information presented in a pleasing way that would appeal to children and adults. I learned about all the different whales that migrate to Nova Scotia. The guide was very helpful.

Interesting and informative! Great staff keen to answer questions. Awareness of the consequences of whaling is raised by watching the short film and you can hear whales through excellent recordings. Well worth a visit.

We stopped here as part of our drive along the Cabot Trail. We spent around one half hour there. There was a movie that was informative. The rest of the museum has exhibits about the local area whales. Worth a stop.
