Organic Tour in Huerta Los Tamarindos: 45 minutes, 6 guest minimum, $38 USD. Guests arrive and congregate under the large mango tree where they are offered fresh juice or iced lemon grass tea. As this is a working organic farm with strict hygiene standards, they will be asked to wash and disinfect their hands before the tour begins. Baskets and scissors will be distributed for collecting produce from the field, and participants will receive an instructional flier with information on organic agriculture. As the tour continues to the field, the guide, an agricultural engineer with vast experience as an organic farmer, will point out different aromatic herbs and vegetables, demonstrate the proper way to pick each of them, and explain what it takes to become a certified organic farm and how this differs from conventional farming. The last 10 minutes of the tour will be devoted to questions and answers from the tour group. There will be an opportunity for guests to use the restroom or have another glass of juice or iced tea. The tour will end in the ranch house, affording guests the opportunity to purchase a variety of products produced on the farm, including tomato sauce, and infused oils.

I'm a home cook and thought this would be a fun event to do, when we arrived I was very happy to see the authentic cookware and décor. We got a tour of the gardens and they talked about each of the plantings and how they use them in their recipes. We then gathered for drinks and then got to... More

Great setting. Very rustic with beautiful grounds and vegetable gardens. Great area for a cooking class with a specific place with a cooking board, bowls and utensils for each of the 14 of us. The class was interesting and informative. The lunch that followed was delicious. Because we were a large group and were hosting a 4-day food and wine... More

The vendors fresh produce was great. One vendor was having bags of fresh oranges brought in. I have never smelled oranges so fresh and fragrant from such a distance!

This was the first time coming out to Los Tamarindos and the road was very bumpy, but it was definitely worth it. Pietro took special attention of all the patrons and warmly greeted us upon arrival. Chef Gabriel gave us a tour of the grounds pointing out the great varieties they had for many organic herbs and the huge selection... More

The food was farm fresh and delicious, however we only had breakfast buffet and 2 drinks and 1 cup cake , it cost $72 plus tip and a $30 taxi ride for going 3 miles, so maybe if you choose to do the tour of the cottages, I do believe they offer you free breakfast, but the tour can take... More

What a great find! Our twin 9 years olds, my husband and I spent the morning with Gabriel chopping herbs and squeezing limes to make our own lunch: pizza for our boys and cerviche and roasted veggies for us. We came to Cabo for the ocean but this was one of the highlights of our trip.

I was so surprise to walk into this enchanting Organic Farm which felt like I trip I took a while ago in Italy. I was given a tour, watched a group of tourist enjoying a cooking class and treated to the most delectable lunch and glass of wine. A truly charming exp erience given by the owner and our host... Ok let's start off by saying it's a little difficult to get to, so do yourself a favor and go while it's still light out. Look for the signs and you will figure it out. The grounds are unreal. Beautiful fresh herbs and veggies everywhere. You pick them and chef teaches you how to cook them. I had the pasta... More

This place, though hard to find (directional sign stolen), was really worth it, one of the best things we did in our visit. We (our party of 5, a separate party of 4 and a third party of 2 [including a child]) got a tour of the farm and picked vegetables. We then assembled around the prep table (with drinks)... More
