one of many churches in Puebla, it is worth taking the time and having a quick look inside to see the beautiful architecture

One must enter the unattractive exterior to proceeds down to main altar and see the massive gorgeous Rosary Gold gilded chapel. Unbelievable how art could be so overwhelming!

This is a Franciscan church which is evident by the Franciscan robe tie on the exterior of the posas (Look for the three knots on the chord signifying charity, poverty and obedience). The church interior was closed as it suffered a good deal of damage...More

Gorgeous church - the one not to miss in a city of 360 churches. Stunning from top to bottom and absolutely enormous. The organ takes up half of it in the middle. We had a walking tour of the city which was lovely to have...More

We visited this beautiful and historic church on our recent tour of downtown Puebla. So much gild everywhere, and all the ornate details on the decorations and statues in the chapel really makes this church an awesome and a must visit location.

It's another church. Like many others (oldish and a bit run down) except for the Rosary Chapel tucked into a side wing.

This church has lovely interiors. And it is very close to the Zocolo area. It is definately worth a visit on it's own after seeing the Rosario Chapel.

The centuries old church would be very interesting by itself, but it is the Rosario Chapel that makes it breathtaking. Walls and ceilings covered in carved motifs with gold leaf still accomplish what the chapel was intended to do hundreds of years ago: create an...More
