We had a 21st party in the Club House at Alder Root Golf Club, what a beautiful room, well dressed, clean, roomy, comfortable chairs and tables, couldn't fault the room, the bar staff are welcoming and effiecient, the DJ was spot on with the entertainment, the drinks a little pricey but that was expected, everyone had a fabulous night. The only bit of a disappointment was the food, some of the beef was a bit sub standard, tough and fatty and the platter of vegaterian sandwiches we ordered was forgot about, however the caterers did put some out eventually, shame they were only cheese and fish, vegaterians do not eat fish. I still think this place deserves 4 stars as the room was immaculate, the entertainment A1, thank you for a memorable night.

Thursday night at Alder Root Golf Club is always entertaining. For golfer members and friends there are always activities. There is also a poker club run for all comers. We got Tapas at the bar served by Lynn whilst joining in on the fun. Paul the proprietor is usually there story telling and booking his party tent for upcoming events.
