The cool shallow waters of Elafonisi beach were simply delightful, and the pink sand was refreshing. In certain seasons, you would find a lukewarm lagoon to swim in as well. The water here was the most beautiful blue I've seen. The long drive here was...More

Loved Elafonissi! Uniquely pink and smooth sand. Gets extremely busy during summer months. Finding parking and even a spot on the beach can become a challenge, but still worth visiting.

Good access. Free parking. It's a flat sand beach and occassionaly quite windy but I guess it depends on what side of Elafonissi you are. Overall great place for a day trip!

We visited Elafonissi beach with huge family including children. Its a very beautiful beach with pink sand, very clear water and super safe for children. They also have bathrooms and kiosks for food and beverage. Worth visiting.

Beautiful clear water and pink sand. Try to find out which way wind is blowing as it can be very windy, and make sure you have sun protection as there is no shade her but spectacular, definitely walk out to the island.

You can swim, walk, have a drink. One day is enough to stay there. Try to go to Falassarna beach and old town. There you also find the pink sand and it is lovier to have a walk. Try to do both so you can compare yourself. I... More
