Worth the long descent on an excellent stairway, but a tough climb back out, although retrieval via 4-wheel drive is possible. The gorge is a seismic canyon, not erosion caused, and is located at the base of an impressive cliff wall. Bridge was rebuilt after...More

This is a must-do in Civita. The canyon is spectacular viewed from town or from the Devil's Bridge. It is quite the walk down on stone stairs. Without knowing for sure how far we would go, we hiked downstream from the bridge on the town...More

You can go there on foot or by car. It's a fantastic place in Civita. You should do canyoning there with Roberto de Marco...

This walk is very rewarding. Parts of the walk are very steep steps or steep road. After the bridge the path deteriorates to very rocky. Views are spectacular.

There are many Devil's bridges. This one is dramatic and close to Civita. The views are spectacular and well worth seeing.

If you are traveling all the way to Civita, be sure to hike down to Devil's Bridge. Great views both above and below. We stumbled onto an Albanian choir singing on the bridge. Such magic with the incredible surroundings.

Went down there in a 4x4 on a day trip; was beautiful weather, the views were spectacular and the peace and tranquility were wonderful. Did also walk down there on another occasion, which was a good workout! :D
