Another beautiful cathedral. Aguascalientes is a simple town with a few awesome cathedrals. This is one of them. It's especially beautiful at night.

Definitely a must see while in Aguas! It's especially beautiful at dusk when it's still a little light outside, but they have the spotlights lighting it up. :)

It's pretty rare to find this beautiful and large of a cathedral outside of Europe. The inside is so ornate with beautiful gold trimming. You can also walk around the altar and gaze at the beautiful woodwork. A true gem of this city.

The cathedral is on the main square (plaza patria) and seems to be closed until after 5pm. Is that because of the refurbishment project currently underway? Well worth a visit as the interior is stunning. Tourist info office nearby as are plenty of cafes.Very recommended.

UNESCO-inscribed basilica with interesting architecture and interior decoration. Lovely colonial design, a thing to see when in Aguascalientes. The square in front of it can get quite crowded.

An icon in Aguascalientes' history and arquitecture landmark. Located in the zocalo, main plaza, you need to visit this beautiful catholic church as part of your city visit.

This church is so beautiful! The architecture is gorgeous. There is plenty to see near the church. On weekends there is a little mercado where they have a lot of goodies. The inside of the church is amazing. Takes you to another time.

Very historical and as always prominent cathedral in Aguascalientes! It was good for a peek while we walked around the Centro de Aguascalientes in the afternoon ... not much more unless you would like to attend mass!
