Went here for souvenirs. Lock your car, some rough people. Most booths have the same souvenirs. Lots of sex souvenirs, I would NOT bring kids here. Negiotate on everything, most people will drop their prices 50%. Also, bring cash. Most sales people are extremely pushy,...More

Just lots of people yelling at you, touching you. Trying to sell their stuff or make you go into their restaurants.

We parked in a dirt parking lot as you reach the main malecon area near the water. The lot says fee parking and a ton of cars are parked there. We ate at a restaurant and shopped for trinkets. Went back after a few hours...More

The Malecon here does not compare to say the Mazatlan Malecon. It is a crammed mixture of restaurants, fisheries (below), and tourist trinket stuff plus miscellaneous shops. I tend to go off the main drag, where there are smaller places to eat, quieter, and less...More

Great time in the Old Port... Lots to see and many great places to stop for a cold one, The Satisfied Frog, Tekila Bar, Boo Bar, breakfast at Maria Bonitas at the Vina del Mar hotel. Just cruise the malecon. Fun shopping with a view!

This is what there is in Puerto Penasco, other than the beaches. It was a fun place to hang out. In the off season, it's not crowded. The restaurants were good.

Good shopping and a couple of good beach side restaurants. Try Aquias Con Flavios for breakfast and lunch. Very good Shrimp Cocktails and shrimp tacos. You will not be disappointed.

The old port is a good place to walk around, check out souvenirs, or eat at a restaurant. It is by the beach and is referred to as the "Malecon". As other people have stated there are a lot of vendors there to get your...More

Best answer would be on the Google Map. There is no shuttle, that I know of, to town (Puerto Penasco). When I was there in November, I went to town in a taxi (twice) for shopping. You go out & back in the same taxi for a... More

I love la curva. They use bottled water for cooking and it's delicious. I've seen people dress very nice in there.
