It rumbles, spews lava and if you get too near you almost surely won't make it back alive, as any respectable volcano does. Photographs are good, pick your spot and wait for the action to begin, it can disappoint but you aren't paying any money...More

Nice hike, be aware you need a 4wd to get there (16k dirt road with big potholes).. I didn't have one.. and well.. not recommended.. the hike itself is great, easy to find. For first timers, a guide could be welcoming..

You have to see it in person :-) It will get your adrenaline going it was the highlight of my trip and the food was great love the Taco near by my Hotel Mision Colima.
