Go early and reserve a cabana on the beach, in front of the Grand Bliss Pool at the Vidanta Resort. Beautiful and not as crowded as this side is reserved for guests. Great deals on food and drinks just a stroll down the path.

beautiful beach! it is brown and not blue like other beaches in Mexico but the sand is so smooth and the beach was very clean.

Quiet beach and good to lay back. Our kids spend hours wave running, while we sipped all nice cocktails by the sea shore.

Very Beautiful Beach with white sand and small to medium waves. Very swimmable and if you are there at high tide worth having a Boogie Board. Located about 20 minutes from Puerto Vallarta Airport. There is mostly large resorts on this beach which makes it...More

Not white sands and turquoise water, but a nice beach with great mountain views. Found a bunch of sand dollars and starfish!

this beach has lovely views right along from the old town to the new. the sand is pretty coarse so you are better with some sort of footwear while in the water. once you get a feet into the water the underfoot conditions are fine.

We swam in front of our hotel the Grand Velas. Very gentle waves and clean water. Not clear or turquoise. It was quiet and safe.

Nice beach... too many jelly fish. Water kinda murky and sand a little rocky. Water very warm at this time of the year. Beach clean.

I've walked at night with friends and never felt unsafe. That said we have been advised by locals not to walk at night and to take cabs which are safer.

We've snorkeled at Los Caletas and Marietas Island on tours. They were OK. Not as spectacular as Hawaii or other areas we've snorkeled, but the water is clear and you can see fish and rock formations.
