I had the opportunity to work at this location a few times while living in Alberta. It's beyond gorgeous. I hope to make a return as just a visitor again one day.

This was by far the most scenic drive I've ever been on. Make sure you give a lot of extra time for stops! Every 10kms or so you'll want to get out of your car and take a picture. There are many parking spots to do so as well. So many animals! We saw countless elk and sheep. The water... More

Spectacular, three hour drive from Banff to Jasper, must do. It's not about the drive it is about the journey. Scenic byway from Banff to Jasper through the Canadian Rockies. . Drove in a 4X4 Jeep with snow tires, the road was rough at times but very driveable in November. Once we hit Jasper the road was very well maintained.... More

I am always finding different things to comment on on Trip Advisor so this one is a long time coming but do not be put off. My husband and I from the UK have visited Canada several times during June and July over the years and have driven this route more than once but can well remember the very first... More

We did a return trip from Jasper (after travelling from Vancouver on Via Rail's iconic 'The Canadian' train - way friendlier to the budget even with sleepers than the overpriced, overhyped 'Rocky Mountaineer') to Banff. The forward trip was on Brewster's scheduled road coach; the return was on a Sun Dog Tours minibus, the latter lacking good visibility at the... More

We drove from Banff to Jasper in July and as everyone says, it really is a spectacular drive along the Parkway. Our hotel gave us a list of all the major stop off points along the way, which we did and they were all amazing with fantastic photo opportunities. We were surprised how pleasantly quiet the Parkway was in July.... More

So this was a really cool experience although you do have to walk a ways to get to the actual ice and it is very cold so bring a warm jacket. This was pretty cool to see though.

What a gorgeous drive - fall or winter, especially. You pick this up just north of 93 (out of Lake Louise) and it will take you all the way to Jasper. There are incredible roadside scenic stops and lots of hiking opportunities. Has to be one of the most beautiful drives in the world. It'll take you 4 hours one... More

We took the Brewster Ice-Fields day tour from Banff. It took us up to the Colombia Ice-field, calling at various lakes along the way. We can recommend this tour - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. We enjoyed lunch at the Ice-field Centre, before going up onto the Athabasca glacier and then visiting the Skywalk. Definitely worth a day of your... More
