Staffed by pleasant, helpful young people, this is a good place to go for information on Banff and surroundings. Note that you can only access the parking lot from BEHIND the centre. Clean, if cramped toilets are downstairs.

We truly enjoyed the place. It was quaint and the salesperson was extremely friendly and informative. A must see, if you are in Banff. Just a short walk across the bridge, from the main shopping area.

If you don't know the town or don't have your "calendar" filled, visit the Information Centre - they have so much information about attractions and various town maps, you are certain to fill up any spare time you may have while staying in Banff. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable.

Eventually got to ask question about recent bear sightings in the Fenlands to be told by the young girl that she "personally" didn't know. I tried... More

Great for information without the clutter of souvenirs, the staff really knows the Park. Armed with our information, we continued onto Lake Louise.

Not exactly what I was hoping for in a national park. Where are your local points of interest... like in the Jasper Park ranger station? We got a few ideas from the worker-- but she steered us wrong, I'm afraid. Do your research independently and skip this stop.

There is a desk for local info on restaurants, shops, sights, etc. and an area staffed by rangers who can guide you on choosing an outdoor activity. Nice to have them both in the same spot.
