Nice waterfall that you can see from many areas for close-up photos. Beautiful aquamarine water with gorgeous mountains in the distance. Free for all.

Lovely place to spend an hour, well worth taking the short hike up the the trail to get a better view of the falls....

More a series of falls I suppose, but nicely setup to access. Head towards the Fairmont Banff Springs then hang a left down to a couple of reasonable sized free carparks. You have access there to a small beach on Bow River, and a longer...More

The Bow Falls are something you need to check out when in Banff. The parking lot does fill up quickly, so get there early or come later in the day.

The falls are a ways below the Fairmont. They're nice and a divergence for those needing an excuse to hike about.

This was a large picture perfect falls with at least 30 meter drop made all the more wonderful by the short walk from the Hotel. The wooden stairs on the hotel side of the Bow River make it very easy to climb to the top...More

We were walking around the town of Banff and found Bow Falls. It was nice but we thought it would be larger. Not crowded and easy walk.

We walked from downtown Banff to the falls. The trail has a couple of slight hills so, not completely flat. The falls aren't the tallest, but it it always fun to see a waterfall!

This "waterfall" is easy to get but it is more like a cascade. If you are looking for that photo opportunity characteristic of Banff, this is not it. You will be hugely disappointed. It is not even picturesque. The nice thing is you won't have...More

The paths are almost all paved and with built in steps so not steep at all but you need to be okay with stairs. About a 3 minute drive to the parking lot from centre of town.
