we missed teice the reflections. But the lake's turquoise color is very nice. A short but somewhat steep paved trail leads to an observation ramp. Along the way are interesting signs with explanations about the flora and fauna.

When you do the Icefield Parkway from Jasper to Lake Louise or the other way around, Peyto Lake is definitely worth a stop. The views are absolutely stunning.

View this lake from the base on the parkway, and at height, both are stunning! Both areas get busy, so beware!

yes, parking does fill up - but since this is just a short hike there is constant people coming and going so you will find a parking spot.
