There may be loads of tourists shooting their own photos of Lake Louise, but this does not make this Lake less beautiful. Just make sure to get up early and go befor everyone else!

Breathtaking, unspoilt Canadian mountains. Activities available on water. Very romantic setting. Plenty of places to walk. Proper footwear required as quite steep in places. Would recommend walking part round lake then heading up to cafe on trail. Quite a walk but gets you away from maddening crowds.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. It's completely different during the winter and during the summer, but both are wonderful.

It is truly beautiful in winter now I must come back in the summer. Ice skating, sleigh ride, hiking and just watching the scenery is well worth staying a long time

Not a big fan of nature but you can't not be amazed at Lake Louise and the surrounding areas (just look at the photos people have taken!). We came here during the winter so the lake was frozen over but it was good to walk across and go for a little adventure. Something we would never experience back in Australia!

This is the world famous place. I love to go to lake Louise any time of the year. Cannoning in summer, hiking in the fall and ski and skating in the winter. Always have things to do , and you will never get bored.

Summer, the water is beautiful blue, you can rent a kayak or ride a horse to tour the lake. There are several nice trails for you to explore as well. Winter, there are ice rinks, ice castle, frozen falls, horse sledding. It's a good place to watch sun rise, the golden light shines on the glacier.

We went to see the lake itself in the winter but also did some hiking. The belvedaire is worth going up since you see the beautiful forest and then the lake and the chateau from high up. We also did a walk around the lake which was amazing and we saw the waterfalls (incredible!!!).
