Both lakes Agnes and Mirror lakes worth a visit, if only due to the fact that there are less people.

Talk about an out of the way place, this lake is tiny. It's surrounded by trees and hills so not much of any view. It's also pretty cool temperature wise, very little direct sunlight.

Lake Agnes is not as turqouise as Lake Louise and Lake Peyto, but it is still an amazin scenary and it is less crowded!

The tea house was closed, but we made the 3.8km trek up. The views were amazing but the hike was pretty tough. Good snow boots are a must, we saw people in dress shoes. Also, wear layers that wick sweat! It's cold to start but as you exert yourself you get soggy pretty fast and then you get cold.

We did this Hike as a part of the entire Lake Agnes-Six Plain Glacier Loop. The Entire hike took us 9 hours with a picnic, a stop at Little Beehive and stopping a thousand times to take pictures! We started at 7am from the Parking Lot, it was a Mid-September but the mornings were hovering around 0*C. When we Left... More

This is a long hike which is quite steep and fairly crowded. This starts off from Lake Louise and getting to lake louise is not easy as parking in summer is hard. The hike takes you to the Lake Agnes Tea house , it is nice but has limited views and can be quite boring. Lake Agnes is nice but... More

Great Hike albeit rated hard if you decide on the Big Beehive Highline Trail to Lake Agnes from the Plain of the 6 Glaciers as we did. Coming that way is quite steep with a multitude of switchbacks. However when at the summit the rewards are the views. (Make sure you walk a few hundred metres to the hut/shelter for... More

Visited in August 2016. Just take your time and don't let the fast walkers discourage you. You'll get there and enjoy the view! If you're wanting something to eat/drink at the tea house, be prepared to wait for a place to sit. It can get very crowded. It is not cheap, either, but it was fun to do once. The... More

My cousin (an advanced hiker from Winnipeg) and I (a novice hiker from Edmonton) really enjoyed ourselves this November! We took the Highline Trail, which is a bit steeper, up to the tea house, which is closed this time of year. Total time up and down was about 3.5 hours. We started at 10:30 am - I would recommend getting... More

The weather was cold with snow on the ground and decided to take the trail from Lake Louise to Lake Agnes. It was a tough 3.5km climb and if you are not used to altitudes was a little hard. A few stops on the way up but eventually you reach the lake and it was really beauty and even in... More
