LL is about 2 hours from Calgary and offers fantastic skiing. Conditions are generally very good (low temps most of the year keep the snow from melting/freezing into crud) and powder/packed powder is common. Lines are generally short and you can really ski to the limit of your energy. Lots of variety for all skill levels and ages, excellent ski... More

We had a great experience snowshoeing at the Lake Louise Resort. Our guide knew the local history and geography of the area, which made the hike more interesting. This was the first time we tried out snowshoeing and totally recommend it!

This is not to be missed. Yes we were Spring skiing (little stickier - but only at the very bottom by 1 p.m.) - but honestly up higher it was lovely and even had a bit of powder left in the bowls. Trails are well marked by black/blue/green markers (if not with #s which were a bit spread out and... More

This was my first time riding on a gondola and snowshoeing, and what an amazing time I had (coming from someone who is afraid of heights)! The scenery was breathtaking! The temperature was only -3c which made it even more enjoyable. We could not have asked for more from our guide Jasmine. She was very caring and made us feel... More

A run for every taste. The Z run is superb. Lots of beginner-intermediate runs. Friendly lift operators and restaurant staff. Food prices are rather high.

We hadn't been to Lake Louise for several years, but enjoyed it as much as ever. We were there the week before spring break, so it was not crowded at all. Parking was good and very well organized. The main lodge has good lockers for all your stuff. The weather was sunny and the snow was great! The runs were... More

This is a great ski resort. The views are stunning, and everything is very functional. I recommend riding the back bowls, where the best snow is, and the top of the world, where my favorite runs are.
