Good mall with open floor plan and good shops

This is a good mall for shopping and also for families with young children. It has the Disney Store and the Discovery Hut.

It's Calgary's version of Yorkdale Mall in Toronto. It's big, has a bunch of decent stores and yes...for all you fruit lovers...it has an Apple Store. The three times I've been here, the whole car scene was nuts! There was 9...yes NINE...9 security guards directing traffic at their main entrance. Parking is a nightmare...right in the middle of the day... More

Central location. Underground free parking with security. Every major shop with Bay anchor. Not inexpensive but lots of choice. Good quality shops. Can easily spend the day here.

This mall is large and always busy. So if you get anxiety in big crowds, this is not the place for you. There is a good variety of shops here, including a Nordstroms. The food court is normally packed, but there is a good choice in fare. Getting into the mall is a little horrendous. There is normally a security... More

Plenty of shops to entertain yourself and cheap enough (when you convert it to British Pounds). Hollister was very cheap again when compared to UK.

For Canadian shoppers this is the best of the best although it is old and run down. There is Williams Sonoma here and Nordstrom so that is the best US style shops available..not as good as Asian mega malls.

I was looking for a Lulu Lemon location so went to this mall. We only walked down one wing of this mall. Being from the U.S., I was unfamiliar with most of the stores but there were enough to have kept me busy...Nordstrom, Pottery Barn, etc. What amazed us about this mall was their parking lot. The parking spaces have... More

The people were very friendly the place was well laid out. Not to keen I have to walk for what seemed like miles to get to the ladies room and have to go downstairs. There was some good deals on and that is always a good thing. It was only a 10 dollar cab ride from the Blackfoot Inn.

Chinook seemed to have the normal brands we find in decent Alberta malls. Nordstrom was what drew me in because it's the only one in Alberta right now. If going to the mall on the weekend, be prepared to spend time looking for parking and possibly having road rage with someone else in the parking lot. There is valet when... More

As in, "I saw this great sweater at Chinook!" Locals know exactly what is meant. Over the years, it has gone more and more upscale, so that sweater is going to cost a lot these days. But for movie buffs or families who want to put their kids on a carousel, it's a great location. There are several highly regarded... More
