I toured through on my own in the early afternoon. There were a few groups of students that were listening to interpreters in some exhibit halls. It was nice to stop and listen as well.
Many exhibits and endless rooms with lovely pictures and artifacts.
We attended the Tamara Lee-Anne Cardinal exhibit and it was beautiful. She described the history behind the jingle dresses and the video that plays behind the exhibit shows the dances while wearing a couple of the dresses.

This is a great little museum. Particularly enjoyed the section on First Nations people brought to life with artifacts and fascinating video interview. A diverse art collection had rotating contemporary art installations. Worth a visit.

I would say a minimum of 3hours. We really didn't allow long enough, just a couple of hours before catching our flight !
There are a number of thought provoking exhibitions and we really wanted to sit and reflect!
