I toured through on my own in the early afternoon. There were a few groups of students that were listening to interpreters in some exhibit halls. It was nice to stop and listen as well. Many exhibits and endless rooms with lovely pictures and artifacts.

Not bad but a bit eclectic. It's a modern building and the displays reflect a modern city. A lot to see, perhaps a bit less would make it easier for the casual visitor. Will doubtless go back.

Enjoyed the tour through Calgary’s history. Good display of First Nations and Calgary oil business. Mineral display was ok.

Unfortunately I ran out of time to get through the entire museum. What I did see what really great and I liked the variety and the quality. I would definitely return.

And more! There's always lots going on at the Glenbow. As Calgary locals, we don't visit the standing exhibits much anymore - but would take visitors there in a flash for sure. We love their curated art exhibits, and over the last while, they've had...More

This is a great little museum. Particularly enjoyed the section on First Nations people brought to life with artifacts and fascinating video interview. A diverse art collection had rotating contemporary art installations. Worth a visit.

I would say a minimum of 3hours. We really didn't allow long enough, just a couple of hours before catching our flight ! There are a number of thought provoking exhibitions and we really wanted to sit and reflect! Enjoy!

I saw a school tour and no daily listed tour. Group tours are available after booking ahead. Strangely enough, fees for group tours are higher than for solo visitors, $20 v. $16. Hope info helped.
