My cousin and I recently visited the Calgary Zoo, specifically to see the pandas. We were very impressed by so much at the zoo. All the exhibits were clean, spacious and well laid out so that you had lots of opportunity to see the animals....More

If you have visited many zoos you will undertstand that this zoo, though it has some well done areas, is not as good as others. The biggest con would be the long amount of walking between exhibits where there is nothing to see along the...More

Most pathetic zoo I've ever seen. Such a shame for the Canada.Even our Yalta zoo in Ukraine is much better. One big disappointment

The Calgary Zoo was always one of the top zoos in the country, but a lot of other zoos have steadily caught up with it. It is still great to visit but it has lost some of its panache, so to speak.

We went for the Pandas but the rest was a very pleasant surprise. Well organized and very humane treatment of animals. I was less impressed with admission fees with well over 115 for four seniors on a tight budget. Regular prices were only slightly more...More

Went to have breakfast with the Pandas -- it is a brunch buffet before the zoo opens. We felt it was well worth it ; the relaxed time to see the Pandas (after brunch) was really nice and the food was delicious. The only thing...More

I recently went to the Calgary Zoo, I haven't been there since my son was a little boy, he is grown, married, and has babies, so that tells you how long it has been since I have been there, but I was not disappointed. My...More
