It is a great place for everyone all ages to walk back into history. There are lots of things to see and do. Great midway for the children they love it. Programs are available through the year and summer camps from theater to learning how to bake/make butter from scratch the old fashioned way with electricity. We go often and... More

Stepping back in history to see, smell, and sense a lot of Alberta's history was and remains a wonderful experience at Heritage Park. Street performers, heritage houses and buildings the railroad and boat rides, lunch at the hotel, etc is always fun no matter how any times one goes. The car museum, bakery, blacksmiths shop, newspaper shop, carpentry shop, apothecary...need... More

My sister's family planned a 'Celebration of Life' for her to be held in the Wainwright Hotel inside Heritage Park. What a great choice! The main floor of the interior of the hotel is wide open suitable for a larger group. In this case there were probably about seventy five attendees and room for all. The hotel is a historic... More

First visit to Wainwright Hotel at Heritage Park today and I must say it was just ok. The breakfast portion was ok but they had roast beef, chicken and ham with no vegetables, no potatoes or salads. Guess you had to eat eggs with the meat. They did have a bowl of green lettuces, no other vegetables in it. Coffee... More

We LOVE the Heritage Park. It's so beautiful there and easy to spend the whole day. Definetly ride the train. The houses are so interesting and it truely feels as if you have gone back in time. Bit pricey but it is reflected in the upkeep of the park. We always love to eat at the hotel. Sometimes they have... More

This is an historical town with an old locomotive train to ride. Horse drawn wagons, local bakery eatery and ice cream parlor. Rides for the kids, great historical buildings for the adults to enjoy

In a nutshell, we love Heritage Park. In this crazy hustle and bustle world we live in it is so refreshing and relaxing to go back in time when life was simpler and less complicated. We spend hours there every time we go. Being a farm guy from Saskatchewan I want to volunteer at the elevator when I "grow up".
