The tower is worth a visit if you have never been or haven't been in a long time. We make sure any guests who come to town get a chance to visit this icon of Calgary. The food is not inexpensive but the staff and presentation are excellent. Be sure to stand on the glass floor viewing deck to add... More

You can't visit Calgary and not go up the tower. Pretty quiet when we went which was great for me as I am not great with heights but you have to do these things - don't you!? Express lift to the top and then out you step into the viewing deck and the views are spectacular- you can really see... More

We were here for a Mother's day lunch with my parents, my husband and my son. The restaurant slowly revolves 360 degrees so you can enjoy the nice view of Calgary from the tower while enjoying your meal. In an hour or so the restaurant rotated at least 3 times. The food was okay and service was good. We might... More

The Calgary Tower offers a great view of the city and surrounding area. If you combine your visit with lunch or dinner at the rotating restaurant, the trip to the top is comped. For as old as this tower is, they have kept it in nice shape. Of course, there is a store at the bottom where souvenirs can be... More

It was ok. Not worth the $18 each we paid. There should be more interactive things once you get up there. It was cool to see the mountains but other than that not very interesting.

Most people visit the Calgary Tower for the view. I liked the panels depicting The growth of Calgary and its population. Very thought-provoking!

Certainly worth a trip to the top if you aren't afraid of heights. 360 degree view of the city and snow capped mountains in the distance.

I have been to Calgary Tower many times, and the view is always wonderful - of course, it is much better on a clear day. Take a look at the city, foothills, mountains, country, and more. You should stop in at least once.. especially if you are already downtown. Downside: it's downtown and parking can suck big time!

Yes it is lovely to look at the city skyline and the rockies from way up in the tower, but the windows are too high for young ones to enjoy the view, and there is no outside walkway so you are stuck in a round room that is very stuffy. And if you are going to close off the observation... More
