My sister and I are visiting in Calgary for a few days. This park is very close to where we are staying. It was a beautiful afternoon for a walk so decided to look for the six-stage multi geocache located there. Each of the stages...More

There are ponds filled with cattails and during the summer Red Winged Black Birds bob and sway and nest amid these reeds. I've seen ospreys here several times - the river runs alongside the park. There are neat water paths created here and if you're...More

Absolutely love this park! Great location, close to downtown without paying for parking. Enjoy parking the car and biking in. Kids playground, water bird areas and walking trails are a few of the amenities at this park.

Park is located very, very close to the busy road, so it's almost impossible to just sit and rest by the river. All you can hear is a noise.

I frequently go to this park just to walk or to have a picnic. It is amazing that this is in such a busy area but can be so quiet. I go there at times with my family for picnics.
