The Bow is definitely a gem in Calgary. So many places to walk, hike, bike, or even float down the river. Fresh air, so pretty, lots of wildlife along the path

Such a nice place in the summer to walk and just breath in the air. Just enjoy the beauty Mother Nature and Mother Earth have to offer. Recharge your batteries.

Just across the bridge on route to the Nordic trax is a small parking lot in Canmore. The Bow river snakes thru town and at this lot you can park and access the Bow. Parking is free. Walk under the bridge and fish up river...More

If you're a photographer or artist, you will love the views along the road of this lovely river. Surrounded by mountains and snow most of the year.

It's obligatory to check out the Bow River if you're in downtown Calgary. Terrific park space and numerous walking trails along the water's edge.

My wife and I took a stroll around the crescent of Prince's Island Park and we were able to form an impression of that part of the Bow river, which at the time was quite fast-flowing. It originates in the Rockies at the Bow Glacier...More

The Bow River starts in the Rockies and goes through the north part of downtown Calgary. In the summer, you'll see many people in the city floating down the river in inner tubes and little rafts.
