Fisherman from all over the world travel to fly fish our world renowned Bow River! Beautiful scenery all along the length of the Bow. Well worth the trip for the avid fisherman. There are many good guides that work the Bow to offer a wonderful experience for any level of fisherman.

We had seen all of downtown but found this beautiful place to walk around. There was a bicycle race that day and it wasn't crowded at all.

Start along the Icefields Parkway south through Banff National Park along the TransCanada Highway through Calgary. Wildlife, vistas, great fishing and tubing, you can do it all.

Tube down, bike along, run and drive with this river in the summer...skate on it in the winter and be led by it all year year across Alberta for the best hikes and trails for all the sports you can possibly think of. Nature at its best.

Excellent walking paths along the Bow River. Many people raft or fish in this vast and long river. Picnicing is a must.

You can't swim in it but you can float down it in any floating device. You can fly fish in it the best off Glenmore Trail in the SE.

Many US citizens as well as Chinese are now seeing the Bow River valley as a prime real estate investment region because of the moderate almost year round climate. Frequent chinooks in winter provide a timely and much appreciated break from the cold, the summers are warm but very rarely hot and the weather tends to be predominantly sunny with... More
