This is a wonderful place! So much to see in such a circumscribed place. If you are hungry, Boxwood cafe is a great place for a meal. The new Marriott Residence Inn is across the road, and 17th Avenue eateries are close by.

It's quite simply laid-out, but this park really works a public space and public place. Of course, it's best in the spring, summer and fall, but it has its beauty in winter too. The public library provides a focus on the east side, a high-end restaurant on the west side, and in between are a variety of memorials to the... More

Nice little park in the centre of the city. Lots of benches to enjoy the surroundings. Beautiful library building on the edge of the park.

Relaxing - beautiful grounds - flowers - fountains. A fabulous area for weddings - pics - family time. A must visit in Calgary.

This is one of the cities most beautiful parks. In the summer its a great place to walk and hang out amongst the color changing fountains. Its our very small version of central park in NYC.

I recently did some Pokemon chasing to find out what all the fuss was about. Central Memorial Park was the location and it is much more than a gathering place for Pokemon enthusiasts. There are plenty of fountains: a water play area for kids; outdoor patio restaurant; library, benches; green spaces; historical landmarks and information; plenty of shade and sunny... More

Popular little park downtown Calgary. Beautifully maintained gardens and fountains throughout. Many were sitting on the grass enjoying the nice weather or the few benches through. There is a place to eat as well as a coffee shop across the street and food trucks parked at the side. Many kids were splashing about in the ground level fountains. Nice place... More

On 4TH Street and 12 Avenue SW, you will find Calgary's oldest park. There are gardens, fountains, and statues to enjoy. There is also a restaurant on the south side of the park

In the summer time (also late spring and early fall) around the lunch hour there is always a gather if of food trucks at the park usually on the 12th avenue side. There is always something to please. Check it out.
