Walking through Stephen Avenue, we were very impressed with the artwork, including these hangover white pieces, which are large and very overpowering. At no time did we think they were supposed to represent trees, but now we know. Some of the art pieces in Calgary...More

I didn't know these were supposed to represent trees, but I'm not great with understanding art. I love them lit up! Neat to see if in the area, no need to go out of your way.

Many people wonder what these things are. Well besides being street art, they act as a wind break. When a strong chinook winds roles in from the West, Calgary's "urban canyons" (streets between sky scrappers) act as a wind funnel. These Tree Sculptures somehow slow...More

This street is amazing, it really stands out when you drive by or look down the street. Lots of pedestrians walking around and its a great added feature to the down town core.

Tree sculptures are so fun to see! They are a good night structure to see because of the lights at night. It doesn't take a long time out of your trip to drive by or to walk through.

These are cool sculptures but you're not missing out on anything earth-shattering if you skip this attraction. I use the term "attraction" very loosely as it's just something you would see walking down the street. It's not like people flock to Stephen Avenue to see...More

I love these sculptures. They bring art to the heart of downtown. It becomes the focal point for west 8th avenue. Go shopping on the promenade and take some great photos with the trees int he background. If only the rest of our city had...More
