Great Family Destination

There are so many attractions for family fun. Almost any store to shop at can be found here. There's a casino, many restaraunts and mini golf. Just remember where you parked.

At West Ed you have a hockey rink on the inside of the mall a Starbucks over looking it on one side and a Tims on the other both with constant lineups. You have a skip that doesn't go anywhere and Sea Lions that have been doing the same thing for years. So basically it's a big mall, larger than... More

This is a very large mall with a lot of fun places for kids under one roof. Huge ice rink, waterpark/wave pool with palm trees and lounge chairs, restraunts and bars street, large food fairs, miniature golf, sea lion show. Some is pricey. Usually some good shopping deals. Also there is a large oriental grocery store if u want some... More

I am not super fond of mall shopping and this place is just intensely large. I found the staff at most of the attractions to be mediocre and the prices to be very high. It's okay but not worth the money. Found some cheap toques though.

WEM is one of the place thou have to visit if you are in Edmonton. From shopping, to food, to arcade games, to amazing water park, hotels it's all in once place. It's very busy, and parking is usually chaos, but commuting few hours to WEM should be on the list if you are in Edmonton.

I have been to quite a few big malls in the world but I have to admit the West Edmonton Mall is the biggest. I think there is something like over 800 stores and restaurants. I like the concepts of the mall... an ice skating rink, an underwater submarine, an waterpark, and rollercoaster. I spend the whole day there and... More

The place is HUGE and was a little over whelming ! We stayed across the street and was in the mall every day that we were there. So we were able to pace ourselves. Enjoyed watching the ice skaters. We did go into the casino and did do some shopping. We also got turned about a few times because it... More

The mall is aging and I find that the renovations are taking away a lot of unique features like the fountain in the food court. Good variety of stores, but mostly chains that you can find elsewhere.
