Auditorium must mean " a place to listen", and if so the Winspear succeeds incredibly well in that respect. The acoustics were engineered better than any other venue in Edmonton, and make a fitting home to The Edmonton Symphony. My wife and I have enjoyed concerts there in a variety of Genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock, Roots/Folk and every one has... More

You know it's good when every artist from outside Edmonton makes a point of saying Winspear has some of the best acoustics in the world. Accessible by LRT (subway) in downtown. Definitely worth a visit

One of the best acoustic music halls on this continent. Arrive early to get a parking spot nearby if you don't want to take a longer walk. You will enjoy any event at Winspear Centre, from a classical music evening to X-Mas concert with your whole family.

I've been to numerous concerts at the Winspear and you can't beat floor and first balcony seating for terrific views of the stage and performers. Only negatives are if in the nose bleed sections it is very uncomfortable and cramped.

If you have an opportunity to book a backstage tour and attend an ESO concert at this beautiful centre, do. It is magnificent. Best acoustics for an orchestra I have ever encountered.

We went to see The Creation by Haydn with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and The Richard Eaton Singers. Superb. It is a wonderful oratorio and it was very well performed. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Excellent acoustics at the Winspear

We have attended numerous performances including the Robins Pops series, Barenaked Lades, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Tony Bennett and more. The sound quality and acoustics are amazing! Tony Bennett commented that the Winspear was in the top 2 venues that he has ever performed at for sound quality.
