Would have likely given 5 stars, but viewing of Movie was very dim and dark. Apparently a bulb was burnt out in Projector and this had been brought up by patrons before. Not sure why they wouldnt fix it immediately. Would have made experience so...More

I love coming to this theatre and sitting in the balcony! There is a second theatre in the basement that isn't as fancy but I enjoy the intimate size.

This place is a film lover's dream. It's a beautiful, historic venue with big, comfortable seats and a selection of independent films playing year round.

Rather small but cozy, just like the good old days. The selection of movies is very nostalgic, a nice getaway from the mega theatres everywhere. Prices at the snack bar are reasonable

Always love seeing movies at this art-house cinema. Great location on Whyte Ave in Edmonton. Always great titles, both indie and mainstream for cheaper than the big cinema houses.

Watched the Danish Girl in this old style movie theatre with the old velvet curtains. Small screen, small seating area, small quiet crowd of mature adults. Sound at a level acceptable to old ears. $8 tickets. Short line up.

Grand old style theatre. Popcorn tastes like popcorn and all that good stuff =). Management is going to change for whatever reason near the end of January. I'm hoping the legacy will continue.

I don't know, but I don't think so. It's an old building, so there's not a lot of alterations they can do to it. You might be able to risk the stairs. Also, Amy is playing later at the Metro, and they are much more... More
