the food is always great! Lids at the Hall is a training program that is working very well. I go there whenever I can. The daily specials are good when I have one.

This is a nice open structure. It is well positioned in the heart of downtown Edmonton. The south lawn(?) has a great wading pool in the summer and cool skating rink in the winter. All free for the public and close to the activities in Sir Winston Churchill Square. Worth a visit!

I've attended concerts, lectures, demonstrations, photo shoots, as well as city council meetings, and meetings with my city counselor. Every time I'm here, I'm grateful for this public space that is so versatile and attracts visitors and residents, in all their variety.

The best time to go down to City hall is Friday and Saturday's as they have the Farmers Market going on there. They have it outside in the spring, summer & fall, and inside during the winter! The summer time has the pool, and other things going on too!

This is where City Council meets. On the exterior is a large wading pool with fountains for kids to enjoy. The interior has a high ceiling with a large set of stairs. This makes it an ideal site for choirs to perform or for photos of large groups to be taken.

Unfortunately the building itself was closed when we were there (later in the day) so we didn't get to see inside - but we liked the outside very much. looks like there has been major redevelopment in this area and it is an interesting...
