This is not a course for beginners. There's water in play on a number of holes on the front nine and it can be punishing. A friend who is a member at the course admits it can be a brute of a course. That said, it's a very nice example of the beauty of the North Saskatchewan River Valley. The... More

Golfed here on a beautiful Sunday morning. The course is interesting with some beautiful views of the North Saskatchewan river valley. It is a mid level course in the Edmonton area ($75 on a Weekend). The landscaping is rough in some places and it could use some work in beautifying the course... any course were old equipment is left lying... More

Awesome course just minutes from home. Think we'll be making a few twilight visits this summer for sure.

Have played this track many times but never this late in the season. It was the last part of October and a beautiful Sunday with unusually high temps for this time of year in Edmonton. Only 1/2 hr frost delay. The fall rates were a nice unexpected bonus. This track has lots of troubles so bring lots of balls. Many... More

It's my first time to play this course.... It's beautiful out there knowing it's just the south of Edmonton.... Very difficult course though and definitely you need a cart to play this course since the lay out is a little farther when going from one tee box to the other (specially from the 9th green to the 10th green). The... More

I liked the setting of the course on the North Saskatchewan River but the course itself is a bit of disappointment. There is a lot of choice in the Edmonton area and in my view you can do better. Very difficult course to walk due to the distance between the front and back nine. The front nine is very tight.... More

I have golfed at almost every course in Edmonton, even a few of the private courses. River Ridge is a fairly good value for your money as compared to many other courses in Edmonton. The course is set along the North Saskatchewan River valley, so it is very scenic. Given its location, your chance of encountering wildlife (beavers, deer, elk,... More
