Young and old can enjoy the site, both inside and out. It is centred in the river valley close to Fort Edmonton Park. The beehive area is great for children under 10. The wilderness pond can be explored by all ages.

Visited with my 2 and 1 year olds. They both really enjoyed the playground room. Teal so liked the animal exhibits. Some if it was a but over their heads given their age, but there were lots of things to do and I will definitely return when my kids are a little older.

Visited with my son and two grandkids. They have a yearly pass, so my grandsons have been many times to the indoor nature-themed play area. One side has tiny garter snakes, a salamander and a frog that children can watch through glass, and a few tables have puzzles and blocks to play with. Another side has a cave, a slide... More

Great people working and volunteers; however the City of Edmonton as ALWYAS makes things not affordable for average Edmontonians and families. Would be great if more affordable for a family.

Getting old, but still a fun place to go. Lots of trails and Edmonton footbridge nearby. Pond for kids to use their nets and try to catch tadpoles. Can pet a snake during certain times and observe honeybees. Nice indoor playground with a cave and slide. Next to Fort Edmonton Park. Lots of local parties and programs run through here... More

My son spent a couple days a month in the play area from the time he was 2 to 5. Great place to let them run at a good drop in price and a great year long pass.
