This is one of my favorite parks to do my marathon training. Parking is convenient and washrooms close by. One lap of the park including the out-and-back is about 2.5 km. The city seems to close the washrooms for the season too early and they...More

I live in Edmonton and have done the walk from Laurier Park to the High Level Bridge in the Summer. Beautiful nature walk with a view of the river.

So many childhood memories - biking running pinics, baseball games, the Storyland Valley Zoo was right there. Small park located on the banks of the North Saskatchwan River, Laurie is a gem hidding in the valley. It is a pinic park for sure with several...More

Great picnic spot for people, with ball diamonds available. A decent amount of parking available and the Valley Zoo is a place where people who love animals, and especially children, love to go. The Valley Zoo has special activities for people all year round.

Laurier Park is a good choice year-round for an afternoon walk, with some nice views of the North Saskatchewan River and is next to The Valley Zoo for those wanting a longer walk.

They have the wood burning stoves on a swivel and some larger pits with grills. I go on weekdays so not sure if there would be spots available on weekends. Nice trails and you can always take in the zoo while there.
