We visited the center to ask about Jasper and outdoor activities. Staff were very nice, although there could be so many people there so there's quite a wait especially during the summer. Located in the center of Jasper, it's very nice local. You can also do a little shopping for gifts from Canada. Canadian are by far very friendly people... More

I mainly go to the Friends of Jasper Store that is located in the classic parks building. They have the best gifts and souvenirs and it all goes towards the park. It is my first stop. The Information Centre is helpful and the staff consistently have offered me good advice on weather, trail closures and suggestions on where to go!

great info, easy to get to in the main part of town. Good maps and friendly staff. The gift shop next door had some quirky gifts and momentous of the town and national park area.

If you plan to spend any time in Jasper National Park, the information centre is a necessary visit. I've always found the Park staff here to be friendly and helpful, and have given us useful information beyond what we've asked for. On our most recent trip we stopped in to ask them about snow conditions. We had hoped to do... More

Excellent gifts and informative guides. BUT no washrooms, they are a walk to the Train Station. Perhaps this might be a future additive?

We were lucky to go there before getting the road to go to Columbia Icefields. The very helpful attendant informed us about the road conditions (which was very dangerous, due to the snow accumulated during the night) and until then we had no idea of how to access this information. We waited a couple of hours before leaving the city... More
