Hiking along fireroads gets pretty tedious, and a fire road makes up the majority of this trail; however, it's still a good workout and the views at the top are worth it! The mini scramble to the upper viewpoints are fun!

As we were experiencing smokey conditions because of the fires elsewhere we arrived to clear skies and a lovely coloured lake to get some great photos [a little lucky]

This hike starts at the parking lot and goes on top of the Bald hills overlooking Maligne lake. On a sunny day the water in Maligne lake is a beautiful blue. This makes for some great pictures. Take the road to the top- fairly easy...More

The trail was open and there was no note or sign of snow on the trail. But after about 45 min into the hike, there was still a lots of snow (1-1,50 m) on the way up and covered the trail completely. One wrong step...More

I would agree with the others, this is not a hike for a small child.
