Went camping here. Weather was poor but the park is fabulous. Great camping sites and if in the off season, no reservations needed. Will be back again as it was a beautiful camp ground with reasonable prices.

Lac le Jeune is one of our regular kayaking destinations. We love going under the bridge to the little lake on the other side. Trying to see if we can get lost in the reed beds is a favourite activity. You can also get up...More

Stopped by while exploring the road to Calgary. Loved the peacefulness, the lake and scenery. Its a nice stop for a picnic or some downtime away from just zooming along the Highway.

Good place to go during the winter as it is not open or plowed. Not supposed to do it, but quite empty making it a good off leash dog walk.

I'm trying to find a spot to camp between Banff and Vancouver.... it says no reservations for this place after Sept 5th, but it's a Saturday night and just wondering what my chances are of actually getting a site without a reservation? Or are there other campgrounds people would recommend between the two cities?

It is open until Sep 26. I assume it's not reservable after Sep 5 because it isn't as busy as peak summer season. School is back in and weather may not be as good. I suspect that you'd be okay. I can recommend Shuswap... More

Thinking of coming this weekend with my two young kids. There are only a few campsites left to choose from and would love some feedback on which would be the quietest 7, 27, 43, 46, 53, 60, 69. Thanks so much everyone!

Hi - number 7 is on the lake and close to the recycling centre. It may be a bit shady but if the weather is nice it will be a nice reprieve. It can be a bit windy on the lower levels. It is a closer walk to the beach and... More
