Whether you come for the diverse ski terrain or for the variety of summer activities, Sun Peaks is a haven for recreational fun in a three-mountain alpine area. Located in the Interior of British Columbia, Sun Peaks boasts Canada’s second largest ski area with 4,270 acres of terrain. With 6 meters of light, dry snow falling annually and over 2,000 hours of sun each year, guests enjoy spectacular winter conditions for downhill skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing. Off the slopes, more winter adventure awaits with dog-sledding tours, snowmobile and snowshoe tours, horse-drawn carriage rides and more. Summer at Sun Peaks offers just as much recreational fun. Sun Peaks is home to BC’s highest elevation golf course. Guests can explore the alpine with lift-access hiking and world-class mountain biking trails, with opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, Segway tours and horseback riding. Sun Peaks’ vibrant European-style village is nestled at the base of Tod Mountain, Sundance and Mt. Morrisey. The village offers a wide selection of accommodations, restaurants and shopping boutiques.

A great place to enjoy skiing

We experienced all sorts of weather and snow conditions when we were there. The cold kept many people away but the snow conditions were amazing and the line-ups short.

Love love love this Mountain. Nice long runs and fast lifts! There are so many run options to explore. Great mountain for beginner to expert, there's something here for everyone. Love the small selection of restaurants & shops. Check out 5forty Cafe & Grill and Vertical Cafe. Both are awesome for breakfast or lunch!

Just spent the last 6 days in a condo on Sun Peaks, had a blast. So much different terrain to explore, a couple small bowls and some tree riding if you know where to find it. Had one of the best powder days of my life on Monday. Snow was deep and dry. Only issue I had with this hill... More

I did 8 ski hills this last holiday including Whistler and Revelstoke, Sun Peaks is the best in BC! A fraction of Whistlers ridiculous high costs and no noses in the air. Sun Peaks has great runs to challenge skiers at all levels, three mountains facing each other for ski-in/out ease and three distinctly different terrains. AWESOME!

This is a great mountain to ski with the family, a huge selection of terrain and well serviced by lifts. Was busy over the Xmas / New Year week but even so not as bad as others. For those who suffer from the cold, it does get cold during the day, for our 18 day stay the average temperature was... More

This is a great ski / board hill. We've been many times. The skiing area is quite vast, with many lifts and over 130 trails and glades areas to ski. I believe it's one of the largest in Canada as far as ski-able acreage. It can be busy at the two main lifts at the village, but once you get... More

Be sure to bring many extra layers of clothes. If it's cold out and your on long slow chairs it's not going to be good. I froze my cheeks. Snow was good but lots of rock and gravel on the surface. They need a little more snow. Some of the lifts need an upgrade but would be awesome on a... More

Exceptionally long wait times in line up Doesn't have the same family feel like it used to Lack of communication No evidence of organization or flow Waited 30 minutes to hand in helmet and toddler skis only to be told that I could have left them there and they were checked in (no communication)
