It is only once you have visited this museum that you begin to get a sense of how involved the Canadian Forces were in just about every major conflict that threatened our way of life and our liberties. I left profoundly impressed and grateful.

The Okanagan Military Museum is part of 4 museums who are all located in the same location ( more or less ) and visitors can do a quick tour and it is all free of charge and donation is welcomed! They are all quite small so one can not expect fantastic collections. The OMM has small but good collection of... More

I cannot remember the gentleman's name there, but he was very informative on all things in the museum. We were there for an hour and learned lots. Lots of displays etc. Will go again. Everybody should visit it at least once!

We visited there on Aug 25. It is a small museum. The children loved wearing the general uniform and took photo. Awesome!

I was impressed with this little museum. They have a good variety of displays, covering many conflicts, as well as local military history. The selection of weapons on display is excellent. I especially liked the theater that was set up like like WW2 briefing room. The naval display was also well put together. If you have an hour or so,... More

For a small museum they have covered most things I would be interested in. There is a dress up box which was fun and multi media displays. The guides were very informative.
