Poplar Grove Winery is a boutique winery on the slopes of the Naramata Bench. Poplar Grove began in 1995 as the quintessential garage winery. Our goal is to produce world-class wines from our family-owned estate grown fruit.Currently, we make six estate wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and a Bordeaux blend called The Legacy.

We drove from Vancouver to visit some wineries in Penticton to enjoy this unique experience. Our first stop was a high rated Poplar Grove Winery online. As a driver, I didn’t want to have any wine, so I went on the restaurant patio to enjoy...More

Went for a tasting: the wine was good, but our server was cartoonishly hostile. She scowled at us in silence while we drank our samples, and pursed her lips and sighed when we took more than a second to choose our next wine. She didn't...More

Came here for a tasting, same deal as most places. $5/tasting that is waived with buying a bottle of wine. The winery is situated on a beautiful scenic view of the valley. The tasting room itself is modern looking, but almost sterile to me, I...More

Stopped by for a wine tasting but this place has a great restaurant and the patio view is spectacular. The food is very delicious too along with friendly staff. One of the must do's when touring the Naramata Bench wineries in Penticton.

Ok so I love the location. I love the modern look to the winery. I didn't have to wait at all to taste because they had enough pods open for everyone, even on a Monday afternoon. The wines themselves were all solid, as per usual...More

Pros: Past commenters are correct in that it has a stunning view and patio with a classy sail to protect all, instead of individual umbrellas. They even have picnic tables below to buy a bottle and drink on the vineyard. Service was excellent - seriously,...More

What a stunning vinyard! Seriously this place is beautiful, and the view is absolutely breathtaking! There is a restaurant attached to the wine tasting room that over looks the Okanagan and you can enjoy the sunset while sipping on a great glass of vino and...More
