There is something a bit eerie about Apex. Why, on a Sunday with a freestyle competition going on and decent weather, would there be so few people? Why are there so many complete or half-finished condos sitting empty? Why is there so little energy around what is basically a little gem? This was my second visit in two years, and... More

We had a fun day at Apex. The hill is situated in a beautiful location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is lots of space in the village and on the mountain because this is not a super busy hill like some others. Not a ton of green runs, but enough to keep the family busy.

My wife and I stayed at Apex for 10 nights with some of our friends. Talk about an awesome spot to celebrate Christmas and see in the New Year. Apex Mountain offers more than a lot of other ski resorts and it's really easy to spend 10 days here. We skied in the famous torch light parade on Christmas Eve,... More

I love the snow shoeing at Apex, it's gorgeous on a sunny day, the trails range from easy to intermediate i believe. I have done two, Gold Dust and Quick Silver. There are four in total.

Great place to ski with the family. Usually can get discount lift tickets in the Lower Mainland from Costco. Awesome on hill kids ski school and daycare. Give Mom and Dad a chance to sneak away for a few hours tand do some turns.

It's a beautiful ski resort. During snow season, there are stores and restaurants open and it rocks. Never too busy. Really friendly people. In the off-season, there isn't much. They have a few weekends of activities (mountain biking events, or the like) and you can still wander around on your own, but outside of these events weekends, don't expect there... More

We did not know what to expect and the entire visit was "over the top". Who knew about the paddle wheeler on the lake ? passengers and freight, too bad it's gone.
